What's needed from you?
- Calculating projects
- You are responsible for setting up and developing machine concepts. This mainly concerns prototype machine building
- Planning and follow-up of projects
- Managing (chief) designers and draughtsmen
- Discussing the projects with the internal departments
- You ensure that the technical documentation of your projects is up-to-date
- Taking care of project administration
- Report to the project manager or business unit manager
Requirements
- A bachelor's or master's degree (Electromechanics, Mechanical Engineering, Design and Production Technology,...) or equivalent through experience
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience as a project leader or chief designer in engineering machine construction
- Being familiar with calculating projects is a very strong plus but not essential. (materials, engineering, construction, commissioning...)
- Good knowledge and experience with Autodesk Inventor (or a similar CAD package) is a requirement
- Familiarity with the applicable standards and Machinery Directive (CE)
- You are independent, communicative and have experience in managing people
- Knowledge and experience in an ERP package is a plus
- You can work smoothly with the common tools of MS Office
